As the end of August approaches, we are continuing our how to series on Wall Decal installation tips. Following the success of our 3 Top Tips post, we have created a details installation guide, which will give you all that you need to get your wall decal up and off to a fantastic start! Okay so here are our 12 Top Tips on how to install single coloured wall art decals, enjoy!
1. Put your wall art decal onto a hard and flat surface.
2. If desired, separate single pieces of your motif from eachother.
3. Press the transparent transfer foil onto the vinyl foil (the decal itself) with the help of the squeegee.
4. Turn your wall art decal and press again from the other side.
5. Now, gently peel away the white backing paper slowly and close to the transparent transfer foil.
6. Make sure, that the whole decal sticks to the transfer foil – otherwise press again
7. Take the transparent transfer foil carefully with both hands.
8. Position your wall decal with the transfer foil on the wall and make sure it is where you want it. Press one edge of the transfer foil tightly to the wall.
9. Start to stroke your decal from the middle to the outside with the help of the squeegee onthe wall.
10. Now, remove the transfer foil carefully. Start at one corner andpeel it away slowly and close to the surface. Make sure your decal doesn’t peel up with it.
11. If your decal peels up use the transfer foil to press it to thewall.
12. Sometimes it’s necessary to fix filigree parts with your fingers to the wall.
That’s it! Now you can stand back and admire your beautiful wall of art.
